About Verina

Varina Rasquinha is 22 and recently graduated with a degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from NMAMIT, Karnataka. She has now been chosen for the prestigious one-year fellowship in leadership and the liberal arts in India – The Young India Fellowship’16.

When she is not hunched over monstrous engineering volumes, you could find her unwinding with a good book or three. She is currently smitten with the Japanese forms of poetry and prose.
She secured the first place under the flash fiction category in a nationwide writing contest Wordweavers’14 held by Escribes India. She is the contributing author of ‘The Turning Point of Life’ , ‘An Accidental anthology’ by Author’s Ink India and ‘Love Stories Around Us’ by Shades, a youth magazine, among others. She also has edited an anthology ‘Lovingly Yours’ by Sanmati Publishers and Raksha Bandhan by Arusha Books India. She has worked as a content-writer at Dose Internet Media, Kaleidoscope, among others.
