Wrapped up in hope

She weaved her life’s story;

Writhing in pain

And oozing beauty.

A zillion moments

Of absolute hard work.

Tendrils of silk

With fragile perfection;

She admires solely

Her fragile tastes

And basks shrewdly

On the web of her dreams ;

Suddenly a swish

Which scrunches her wish;

It’s the two-legged monster,

Ripping off her abode.

She wobbles away

With sore efforts

And conceals herself

From the claws

Of the vicious predator.

Seething vengeance,

She quietly rasps,

“I will be back. Yes, I will!”

    Great post! I love that it’s funny. Reminds me of my rendezvous with a web and how I had to destroy it to make way for something, and yes the web manufacturer was back the next day 🙂

      Haha! I’m glad you found it funny and could also relate to it. 😀
      I know how annoying spider webs can be. Besides, they totally creep me out 😀
